Our silver Venetian lantern has a classic pedigree. Originating in Isfahan 1000 years ago. The design was taken to the Palace Serail in Constantinople. During the Renaissance Venetian merchants brought it to Venice where it was copied and used to light a multitude of streets and alleys. In short, an Arab lantern used to light serails of the East, adopted by Royals and now home in Venice. Brass, silver-plated, includes classic bracket and candle holder Hand made. Limited edition.
