The G.S. was and is in some places still is the center of social interactions in communities countrywide. Selling everything from farm-eggs to paint and canned beans to shot gun shells and guns. The general store manager was the person familiar with everybody including their families, financials and kid issues. A social center for places when social workers were far and few between. Our handmade charming Store-Steps model symbolizes an era now fading away. Just holding one makes us feel nostalgic for a time now lost.
