SILVER LANTERN "VENICE"

Going back to Oriental palaces of the 1500’s. Venetian merchants imported the riches of the East into Renaissance Europe. Lamps, furniture, tiles, fabrics and of course spices. Venice became a trade center dealing with the lands East of the Mediterranean.
The famous Silk Route. Marco Polo… Our silver-plated brass lamp is still used in Venice to light streets and alleys. Ours is the original luxury version used in the Sultan’s Palace, a Serail from Istanbul to Isfahan. Beautiful bracket. Classic and unusual. Candle stand included.
